My 2017 Jeep Renegade was involved in a collision earlier this year. The body shop replaced the front bumper & grill.
How to I attach a license plate (US) to this? Attached is a picture of the plate area, and a close up of the hardware that is visible. Thanks for the help! |

Re: How to attach front license plate - replaced bumper
AJ, welcome to Automotive Forums..
head to jeep dealer.. a plastic 'sleeve' or overlay has to bolt, slide, or snap onto that for your plate to bolt to.. you might try pep boys, or autozone; whatever auto store you've got close.. they might have a universal type that you could bolt or clamp to your front end, and they might only be $7-15, as opposed to the Jeep one at stealership; probably $35-50 for a plastic plate holder.. hope this helps.. |

Re: How to attach front license plate - replaced bumper
I picked up a "Bell" universal bracket. Do I just use the screws provided and screw it into the center hole of the "Close Up Of Fasteners" picture?
