Questions about polishing car
Is it necessary to apply something like nufinish, then jescar powerlock, then collinite 845 wax if I want to keep my car finish durable? Or can I just apply nufinish or the last two instead and be done with it? It's for a Nissan Sentra 2007 S Silver. Would there be any advanted of way over the other or what do you reccomend guys? Thanks!

Re: Questions about polishing car
while my brother, the paint and body (and detailer) guy, would recommend mopar compound and a high speed buffer; i am more of a meguiar's and mother guy..
and mother's makes a one step cleaner/paste wax that is less expensive than your nu- finish, jescar, collinite; 3-step process.. you can still go to that extreme, but anything is better than nothing; so even if you just use NuFinish, that is better than just a car wash, and nothing.. and if you are planning on doing it by hand (one and done, or 3 different applications), get a $12-25 orbital.. you'll thank yourself in time; and shoulder/elbow aches.. |
