Backup cam w/ Pioneer radio not working

I recently installed a backup camera in my 2012 Nissan Altima. I have a Pioneer radio (DMH-220EX) and everything worked fine until I tried attaching a PAC ControlPRO 2 steering wheel adapter (model: SWI-CP2). I couldn't figure out the wiring diagram for it so I removed it. After removing the steering wheel adapter for the radio, my backup camera no longer worked automatically. It only worked manually and in addition to that in would come on at every gear change. I tired resetting the radio but that did not work. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
