Summer project list includes welding my roof drip rails closed, widening my fenders by about an inch, and repainting my Civic. What's on y'alls list?

How are you widening the fenders?

Life happened again and I got pulled away from both my Civic and the forums.

What happened?

Thinking about going to a local pick n pull to snatch a motor for my Civic. Need to find some other burly guys to help, and get the wife to sign off.

Got the metal bent and fitted for my drip channels this weekend... 101+ temps make me want to wait to weld though. Fixed my A/C mostly... feel like there's not enough airflow through the condenser fan. It seems to be running too slow, so I may break down and order a new fan motor. Them suckers are expensive from Honda, but I don't exactly trust the aftermarket stuff. I can't find any specs for testing the motor in the car, but the radiator fan is pushing way more air than the condenser fan, which makes me think the condenser is running too slow. Going down the road I'm getting mid 40 temps from the vents, but at stop light sitting it's in the 70's, so that makes me think airflow.

First was things started picking up again and quick at work. I'm also part of a crew that takes a 30' Motorhome with a trailer out on some weekends to run disc golf events, so getting that thing ready and planning things takes a lot of my time. I also had some stupid issues with the Civic and parked it until I actually fix things right.

I also had my appendix decide it was done a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I caught it early, so no complications. I think by the time they got me in surgery it may have started rupturing, but I recovered quick from it and getting back into things as normal.

The bad thing about being in a small town in Kansas now is finding old Hondas in the salvage yards is hard to do.

Well glad you're alright.

Here's a picture of the drip channel I shaped.

Re: SERIOUSLY OT: Calling all chicks! IT'S PART 6!!

Well guys, I think we've hit the point where everything mid 80's to mid 90's automotive is going to start trending upwards. I've been really itching for another 4th gen. Or the prelude that I never had. Seen a 300z the other day and got little hard.... havn't seen one of those in forever. Part of me is annoyed "fuck.... now a nice stock one is going to become even harder to find", but then I also think maybe it would be nice to have to relive the comradery these cars brought in the past.

Anyhoo. Nice to see you guys *smooches* #nohomo #maybealittle #nahprobablynot

Re: SERIOUSLY OT: Calling all chicks! IT'S PART 6!!

I recently "finished" my 91 3000GT. I still want to do a few more 90's cars like a DSM and even a late 80's early 90's Lude or a 92-96 Lude.
