Ferrari 312 (67), MFH, 1/20

Hi,

it took a while this time, since I didn't get much done over the summer and the MFH kits do take a bit more time. I already built the 68 Ferrari, but as Grand Prix Legends enthusiast I could not resist when this kit was re-released earlier this year.

There's not much to write about the kit itself, typical MFH model. The mesh over the intakes was yellow in the kit, but on photos it looked more like aluminum, so I got some different mesh from the parts box. I also put bare metal foil on the heat shield, which was a white plastic part in the kit for the same reason. The only bigger problem was the rear suspension - the screws for the rear tires were a bit long, so you have to drill very deep into the uprights, so they have enough room to go through the nut.

I painted it with Zero paints red and Mr. Super Clear on top.

Hope you like it.

And here the 1967 collection, so far...

Beautiful model of a car that was driven by a man, not the computers!

Great looking model and nice details! These old racers are growing on me, i respect them but have not liked the looks.
