Fog Light switch activates High Beams?
I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP and have recently noticed that when I turn the Fog Lights switch to on, it seems to activate the High Beams? This illuminates the indicator in the HUD, but not in the dash for High Beam. If I turn the High Beams on by the MFS, it will deactivate the Fog Lights and seem to activate the Low Beams? What the heck is going on?
My initial thought is that the MFS is probably the culprit. What are some Thoughts? Any input is greatly appreciated. |

Re: Fog Light switch activates High Beams?
So it's not the MFS.
The Fog Light switch is definitely working opposite of the way it should. With the Fog Light switch set to on, the high beams are on, with the switch set to off, the high beams are off. Any input on what would cause this or where to look next? |

Re: Fog Light switch activates High Beams?
Not sure, but that or the Fog Light switch itself is where I may possibly look next. I know the AC Compressor Relay is the same as the Fog Light Relay, so I might try swapping in the AC Relay to see if that solves the problem.
Anybody else have ideas? |
