96 Blazer Trans issue.

I have a 96 Blazer with 4.3 & 4l60e trans. Truck will shift 1st , 2nd & 3rd gears fine but will not shift into 4th. When 3rd gear reaches shift point engine revs and it won't go any thoughts on what the issue could be?
