'97 A4 intermitently wont start

Okay so this car has just been one big headache since we bought it a few months back. Well, to be honest, everything was great for a month or two then it started not starting right away. it was only every once in a while so we put it off, shame on us I know. It got so frequent that we took it to a local mechanic. He looked it over and told us there was nothing wrong that it started right up for him every time. we took it home and didn't have another problem with it for at least 2 weeks. Then it started all over again. We took it back and same results. We started to notice that when the care is used regularly it has the problem but if the car sets for a few days it is fine. The last time it started doing this we took it to a dealership who said that it was the fuel injectors. we had them replaced. a week goes by and now it is doing it yet again. I am at my wits end and fixing to just junk the car and buy a new one! Is there ANYONE who has heard of this or knows what this is? Please I am begging you, help me!

Does it crank and won't start or when you turn the key nothing happens? Need more details.
