1998 GP GT advice

I have a 1998 Grand Prix GT which I purchased in November 1997. The car has been faithful t me so far with very few repairs. It has 61,000 miles on the odometer. My question is, now that the time for changing parts like the timing chain, engine flushes, struts and tires, water pump etc are approaching their end of life, should I spend the money or replace the vehicle? There is nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle.

Thanks for the advice.

Can you do the repairs yourself or have to pay?
What's a car payment lately? $300+ a month
Do you anticipate $3600 in repairs this year?
If it was mine, I would keep it. Since your are up north. What's the rust status?

61k on the clock? It's still a baby...I've seen those go over 200k easily- some near 300k.

Keep it by all means-- or sell it to me....All my vehicles have nearly 200k..Haven't bought a new car since '94. Can't stand the depreciation, or any car payments....

Re: 1998 GP GT advice

Unfortunately, I cannot do all the repairs myself. This car has no rust as I have had it sprayed from the beginning so I think i’ll Hang on to it.
Thanks for the tips.
