2019 Cherokee hood loose

Bought vehicle with 7500 miles all driven in city. Now on highway when meeting a larger vehicle both front corners of the hood "wobble" up to 1/2" in the ensuing gust of wind. Talked to the service manager when getting recall work done last week, he said he hadn't heard of any problems, but could possibly tighten the hood down some. Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: 2019 Cherokee hood loose

I just bought a 2019 jeep cherokee trailhawk that has less than 300 miles on it and I noticed the same thing. Both corners of the hood wobble (flex) from strong head winds or highway speeds. Did you ever find out more from your service manager? I contacted the dealer I bought it from and they had never heard of this happening but it is definitely something I dont want to put up with. Thanks for the help.

No, never took it in to them but have promised wife I will do so before our next big trip. I adjusted the "adjustments" under the hood, there are several, thought I got it stopped, but eventually started it again. I'll let you know what I find out. Several friends have the 2019 Jeeps also, same issue.
