97 jimmy intake gasket replacement help needed

im replacing the intake gasket on my 97 jimmy 4x4 4.3 and my question is after the repklacement do i have to have the scan tool to reset it and do i have to repressurize the fuel system? thanks in advance

Not sure what you would "reset" after the intake job. As far as the fuel pressure, a couple of key cycles to run the fuel pump will pressurize the fuel system.

no you should not need a scan tool to reset anything unless you need to erase some dtcs fuel pressure will or should repressurize its self with a few key cycles
