2006 cranks real hard will not do full crank

car ran fine... shut off went to start later and it just grunted like battery dead. replaced starter still the same. battery good tried to jump start with boost ..same thing . figure possible hydra lock pulled spark plugs out still just grunts????? what's next ? crank seized bearing?? cam bearing?

Check your grounds and clean your terminals. I once had a car that would not start. Hooked booster up to it and it still wouldn't start. Took the terminals off the battery, cleaned them up and it fired right up without any additional boost to the battery.

thanks done that.. battery voltage drops right off while tryimg to crank with booster on it

Try to turn the engine over with a breaker bar. If it spins then you have an electrical issue. If it wont spin and is seized then there is no point in going any further until you get another engine.
