Van won't start after connecting obd scanner
I have a 1996 ram van 3.9L that I hooked a obd scanner up to.
All went well I did have a o2 sensor code that I reset and the truck started and all was good.
I for got and left the scanner connected and had noticed about 5 hours later that the scanner was still connected, so I disconnected and tried to start the engine.
The engine cranks but will not start.
The engine is getting fuel but no spank.
I disconnected the battery and left disconnected overnight still not luck in getting the engine to start.
Could leaving the scanner connected for so long burn out one of the sensors?
I again have connected the scanner and it is showing no codes, I did notice before cranking the engine that the coolant temp was 91,and after cranking the engine it went to -40, could this have something to do with the no start?
