2001 Montana Brake Lights Question
Recently helped out on a failed brake bulb and have question......
Are there 2 brake lights per side ? 1 at top and, 1 at the bottom total of 4 ? (Minus the center high mounted) It appears that there ARE 2 brake bulbs per side to me. Thank You. |

Re: 2001 Montana Brake Lights Question
OK, so what happens when you step on the brakes? How many light up?
My schematic shows one per side.... How many bulbs are in one rear lamp module? Think you should have one single element bulb for reverse, one single element bulb for tail lights, and one double element bulb for tail and brakes......not sure if a side marker(parking light) is used in the module.... |

Re: 2001 Montana Brake Lights Question
When brake is applied only the top lights. But, I could swear that lowest bulb looks like a dual filament. The only thing I can think is they did not have a single filament bulb that would perfectly match the tails brightness/lumens of the 3057 dual filament used for brake/tail.
Might just be over thinking this. Thanks for quick reply !!! |
