Stalls - No crank, intermittent. 95 k1500

My daughter drives this vehicle. It died on her and she could not get it to crank. We had replaced the battery a couple of weeks ago, so I had her check the cables, still no crank. I had her put it in neutral and try to crank, nothing. About 20 minutes later, it started just to die again within 5 minutes.

Any ideas on where to start looking? If it was just the no crank I would look at the starter, but the stalling??

I searched the forums before posting this,
Thank you,
AJ

Check the ground side cable to the chassis or block, look closely for corrosion.

Try this. Turn the headlights on and then try to crank. If the headlights go out when you go to crank you have bad cables or connections.
