96 xj frame rotting

Ok so i was looking under my 96 xj and noticed that my frame on the passenger rear has a hole in the middle of it, Questions

Can i just patch it or is it beyond that point? the other side is fine

Check with a frame repair shop on price to weld in a new section. It maybe time to upgrade to another vehicle.
