Toyota GRS184 K-Break

This is my newest project. I thought I already uploaded the WIP thread but I didn't...

The kit is from Aoshima and I really love the VIP style bodykit on this kit! The original wheels are a bit small so I'll use a new set of Leon Hardiritt wheels instead.

Steve made a special Metallic White for me cause I didn't want a pearl white. But it's very transparant so I'll use a white paint as basecoat.

After a lot of sanding, scribing the panellines and a few touch ups, I finally could primer the body. I also added the white basecoat and the Metallic White paint.

After that I sprayed a first layer of clear. This is just to avoid silvering from the decals. It was a lot of work to add the decals. Aoshima makes very bad and crispy decals. They break very easy. A lot of the grey areas are painted instead of using the decals.

And the next 2 layers of clear.

I also finished the interior. I kept it simple and used Ocker and Black as main colours. A bit of BMF trims will break these 2 colors.

Kris.
