2000 Mustang Door Hinges

My new edge Mustang has worn out the hinges on the driver's side.

I am wondering of anyone has successfully sourced and replaced the hinge pins and bushings on this particular model; if so, how long did it take?

My other option is to spend the extra money on the entire hinge assemblies, but it seems that is a huge job requiring the complete removal of the front fender to get access to the hinge bolts. Does anyone know how big a job this is before I get started?

Thanks for all suggestions.

Re: 2000 Mustang Door Hinges

For others with the same issue, I tried the pins from Ford, but they did not fit.

I ended up having my auto body shop replace the hinge assemblies and paint them to match, expensive parts!
