93 Toyota pick-up 22RE wont start. Help!
93 22RE. Needed a battery. Son started to install backwards. Positive cable started to smoke a little before I noticed it. It did not burn. Now the starter will not turn over, no interior accessory power (radio, turn signals, dome light, etc..) the headlights still work and the door buzzer. It will push start and run fine. Any suggestions

check the main fuse in the fuse box, should be a large 60-100 amp main fuse or possible a fusible link next to battery
