Tamiya's Nismo R32

Time for a new build, Tamiya's 1/24 Nismo Custom.

Aftermarket decals from Tabu design:

Didnt like the side skirt extensions that come with the kit, so left them off the body.
Sprayed grey tamiya primer first to check for errors. Afterwards white fine tamiya primer.
Still prefer tamiya spraycan primer over zero primers...
Used zero white and a layer of 2k clear as a base for the decals.
Decals still need to be seales with 2K.

With hood:

Thats the first update!

Me to! Even thinking of painting the wheels white... Or black, or gunmetal Think white is going to win

Re: Tamiya's Nismo R32

Meanwhile painted the windowtrims, and other details semi gloss black.
Black windowtrims on a white body requires a lot of patience and masking to get a clean look

Head and tail light units recieved a layer of alclad chrome instead of the X11 as instructed on the manual:

Wheels and discs are done:

Re: Tamiya's Nismo R32

Getting closer to the finish.
Interior is done. After searching for some pics online, found this black/blue combo much nicer then the xf63 and xf54 combo from Tamiya.
Carpet is flocked:

Lights are in:

Just some glass, wipers, emblems and mirrors and its done!
