|
A/C compressor won't come on
05 Jetta 2.0 engine code BEV
Tried to put power (12v) directly to the a/c compressor to see if it would kick in......and nothing. Bad clutch coil or something else I'm missing. Thanks.

It is probably a solenoid. My 09 Jetta ac would not turn on. Replaced the solenoid ($40). AC has been running flawlessly since. Not a difficult job but the ac system wll need to evacuated and refilled.
