01R - Le Mans 1995 Qualifying

The mclaren f1 GTR 01R was orignally in an orange/silver livery when first built and was resprayed for the Le Mans 1995 race, but a few months before the race, 01r qualified for the 1995 Le Mans still in its orange/silver livery, and i was struggling to find an image of the 01r still in the orange/silver liver with the #59 stickers on it, and i was wondering if anyone had an image of the car in their collection??? with the #59 stickers on the car?? thanks

I wanted to try and resurrect this thread to see if anyone had any other photos of 01R in its original livery, either from its introduction, initial testing, or Le Mans pre-qualifying. I'll post a couple to hopefully get this thread going.

The first couple are from "Driving Ambition," while the others I found online. All credit to the photographers, whose names are listed on the photos.

I think if by some miracle I came into the means to own #09R I'd have it resprayed to the original presentation livery.

#01R will always be in Ueno Clinic colours and rightly so, so you might as well have the sole GTR that's never been used for racing wearing the presentation livery.

Technically, 009R's livery isn't 100% correct anyway. I think it would be interesting to paint it in standard colors. Maybe black? Similar to what some of the road legal P1 GTR's look like. Especially as you said, it has no racing history.
