Re: Ferrari: a piece of junk behind an expensive badge?

Enjoy our review of the 458 Italia and this might shed some light as to why they are special.

Re: Ferrari: a piece of junk behind an expensive badge?

From a detailers point of view they are absolutely beautiful vehicles to work on, and be around.

Owning, and maintaining one is a whole other story. One of my regulars (a Ferrari owner) is constantly complaining about the km's per gallon gas cost (stupid, what do you expect with such a large tank), and constant issues with the axle. Another poster rightly pointed out that these are not mass produced cars and accordingly repairs and maintenance in itself becomes a 'niche' pursuit.

Moral of the story, admire, rent but do not buy!
