2004 Jetta gl 2.0 sounds like a ricer.
Can someone help me figure out how to fix my exhaust to have a nice aggressive like Camaro or mustang tone. I currently have it straight from the manifold to the cat then straight to a magnaflow muffler and it sounds like a ricer.

It's a 4 cylinder engine, you're not going to get the deep rumble you're looking for no matter what you do to the exhaust. If you want your car to sound like a camaro or a mustang, you'll have to get a camaro or a mustang.

Also, it sounds like you don't have an exhaust resonator. Put one in. You can substitute a glass pack for the resonator.

You can make it sound cooler than just a ricer. Awe has an awesome exhaust system that sounds amazing! There are sound clips on YouTube. It'll sound like an exotic. Ha!! As far as deep or throaty, not likely.
