Could the TCC/Pwn solenoid in my 95 jimmy cause engine stallout ?
So I cant drive my rig because as soon as I shift the engine stalls out.
If I give the engine gas when shifting I might get 5-6 feet before it stalls. People keep telling me it could be the torque converter TCC solenoid. I know my 4l60e is a snowflake year that added a lockup control solenoid into the pan with the shifting solenoids. IS that the only solenoid for it or is there one on the torque converter itself (and would I need to drop the transmission to get to it ? |

Unplug the main plug on the trans, see what happens.

What Max said.
As for the solenoid, the TCC PWM valve which extends into the pump body CAN be accessed through the trans oil pan.
