Valentino´s gt3 is still in progress here, as well as some others.
Happy also the carrera digital 458gt3 is a toy of the following version, not exactly this car, so I am glad to have another unique one

Had a little mess in finding some important parts to continue and finish this car, but surely in 2016 she will be done.
Had to find a suitable rear wing for her (so used latest z4 gt3, the same I used in my 991 rsr) and had to wait scaleauto to make the very nice plastic inserts so typical of this car.

stay tuned...she will be back on track soon..

back again on this model. I started it nearly 2 yrs ago. Just happy still at today in 1/24 remains an unique subject. slotracers made the following gt3 update, so is not possible use such bodies to make this car.

note: when u look around at slotbodies to make those projects made really careful the money count for it. I was looking at the recently released 991 rsr by scaleauto and to complete one I think we are around 200 euros. They come definitely pricey...

interiors and engine bay. the other one is gt2 JMW car, differences in rollcage, chassis and engine bay, as well as exhaust pipings (always thank u JC -afx racing for teching me how to do it...)

also on this gt3 there are now many coloured options to have a unique model in the collection. I fall in love with this one..

Metal nets and lights in position. I am currently waiting some nice PE prancing horses in my inbox....







differently from gt2 spec racers, valentino´s gt3 has darker interiors and cockpit and all the car is much more similar to the challenge ones.. engine bay differences are mostly around cables, minor roll cage and wirings

I think they are directly connected to scaleauto factory, and they talk spanish.
Pretty only spanish....so surely easier for u to make them understand at once what u need. I seen they also sell some very nice alu rims (same bbs gt3 type) but they are pricey.

nearly there with this gt3. still missing my PE prancing horses in my inbox...few bits (wipers, some pe parts, mirrors...) and we did it !

last minor details (but always so important) and also this Gt3 conversion is completed.

conclusions:
this model has been very hard for me to complete. Thought hardest part was give the gt3 shape of the period, it was not. It turned out the hardest part was the too delicate double declas from decaldoc, probably meant strictly for slotracing.
Was useful wait some months before complete it , cause a double final layer of semi matt finish was absolutely needed to protect the too thin color layers.

in other times could be nice also to make a kould of this gt3 body, that at today dont exist in 1/24 scale.
