Do I need new break rotors ?
Do you think its time for new brake rotors ? I drive about 480 miles a week. what do you think about duralast after market parts from auto zone? are they reliable?
Do you think these rotor can hold until January? Because I'm planning to buy a new car around that month and i don't what to put more money in to this car if its not necessary. My braking habits are not aggressive or crazy. I do lots of engine braking. what are your thoughts ? https://postimg.org/image/e7vyxg8fn/ https://postimg.org/image/m5lr45e0d/ |

Re: Do I need new break rotors ?
No one's really going to be able to tell you if they are safe or not from those photos. The outer braking surface does not look horrible, but you don't show the inside. Also, you don't list or show the measurements of the rotor width which is a better indicator of how much life may be left in the rotors, assuming there are no deep grooves.
