2003 W8 4Motion battery replacement

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to replace a battery on a 2003 W8 4Motion? We're having difficulty in trying to remove the battery because of the interference with the rain tray.

I've watched a couple of videos on how to remove which involves pulling the wiper arms off, but my main concern is reseating the rain tray after the process is done.

If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks.
