Revell Porsche 918 aftermarket headlights?
Hey guys I was lucky to find the revell 918 at my local hobby town and I bit the bullet. After doing some research I found that there seems to be two different versions of headlights for this car. Revell designed the following type in the blue car. But I managed to find a different version in the white martini 918. I was curious if anyone else noticed this and if anyone was making a small transkit for it??

Re: Revell Porsche 918 aftermarket headlights?
The white Martini car you show is a prototype, the production 918 has the "four points of light" units that Revell used, and all modern Porsches are currently using.

Interesting. I find the prototype headlights to be more handsome. But the production version has a retro vibe to it.

Re: Revell Porsche 918 aftermarket headlights?
Well, that's of course a matter of taste :-), but the prototype headlights were cobbled together units from production parts.
The production ones are properly designed. At the rear the prototypes used 991 units btw. They didn't really fit either. |

Re: Revell Porsche 918 aftermarket headlights?
The headlights on the Martini car look like the Hella LED lights used on the Porsche LMP1 cars. Also the same as on the Singer Porsches if I´m not wrong
