wackey electrical problem...
Hi All,
Recently, I spent a few weeks in the hospital, so my 1998 rodeo spent a few weeks in the garage. It just sat there, no one used it, it was never started so the battery went dead. I put my jump box on it to try and start it. When I turned the key it would not turn over, rather the windshield wipers started going , I could not stop them until I removed the jump box. I never saw this before so I don't know where to start looking, anyone see this before??I suppose I could pull the w/w fuse and try it again, but no doubt something needs to be addressed, but I don't know what it is. Can anyone offer up a suggestion?Regards, Pat |

Re: wackey electrical problem...
The wiper switch would not turn it off?
Also, if the battery is dead, a jump box will never be able to start it. Battery must be charged, then bench checked (many parts stores do it for free), because if the battery drains below a certain point... it's toast.
