Great work so far!!! I looked into this a few years back, I thought that surely there was a transkit out there, but the only one I found was a Scale Production GT3 Cup transkit with the upgraded lights & bumper.
Looking good! I love the colour choice!

Re: Porsche 996 GT3 Tamiya 1:24

wow great work. Love when those happens opn porsches!
Had this car also different rear lights? in 4s 996 restyling they are much bigger than original versions also there.dunno if also in gt3 mk2s. maybe not btw..

about tk:
I have 2 of theme, dunno the origin cause no box.
One features enlargements for rear wheel arches only, the other one for both front and forward. This second one is probably (I think) for the latest 996 rsr restyling with different lights as the model here, but the front bumper is still for the previous cars,to be fitted on tamiya gt3...

Re: Porsche 996 GT3 Tamiya 1:24

thankx guys
i think, that this version had the same rear lights. But i ddidn´t like the flat piece of plastic behind the clear parts, so i remodeled them. I think, that it will by OK, but i´m still afraid about the fron ones. It is big question if they will look properly, hope they will

Chassis nearly finished. I really enjoy making this part of built, so I added some details, wash, drybrush etc.
