You completely rewired it? The easiest and simplest way to get the pump to run is to apply +12VDC to ALDL pin G, it will power the pump. I thought you had just jumpered across the relay.

And the winner is....wrightz28 It was the blown ECM fuse by the battery. I couldn't find that thing, until someone pointed it out for me.

Year, make, model, engine, and transmission?

Does the car crank over and not start, or not crank over at all?

If it cranks and doesn't start, check for spark, fuel pressure , and injector pulse......if you have TBI, does fuel come out of the injector(s) while cranking the vehicle?

Scanned for codes?

I have a 1964 impala that I swapped out the drive train out of a 1992 1500 chevy truck. so I have the 350 with tbi and 700r4 trans. my problem is that it will not start unless primed but once I prime it it runs perfect. I can drive it around fine and it idles fine but once I turn it off it will not start. cranks fastbut no start. I can hear the pump going and when it starts cranking I can hear the pump stop. but it starts pumping agin while the car is running. so far ive replaced the fuel filter and completely rebuilt the throttle body.. while the body deff did need rebuild it still doing the same thing. is there something that is supposed to splash fuel into the body when start??? help a rider out please

one more note,,, this is not a new build. ive had this car running for 5 years so the problem is new. car has allways started good...

I will look today when I get home. haven't had anybody to crank if for me while I look but I will make my son do it. I don't think it is tho b/c if it was I think it would start sence when I put a little in it starts right up. what would cause it to not spary while cranking? it sprays fine while running. i can hear the pump run when i turn key to on position but once i bump it to start , the pump stops , but if once car starts pump can be heard agin.. while the pump is running but the car is not no fuel can be seen at the throttle body

does anybody no what would cause the injectors to not spray when the engine is cranking but spray once started with the help of priming???

I run into this problem all the time. There seems to be electrical issues in the steering column. You can check the ignition issues by bypassing it with a push button start. It should start when you do this.
