2012 grand caravan door drags

I have a piece on my door that's dragging and scraping paint off toward the top of the door. It looks and acts like the door is sitting to low. How do I adjust the door so it will quit dragging and is there anything anyone would recommend to cover up the bare metal that the paints scraped off on? Thank you.
