Question 86 cutlass supreme turn signal problems left side marker light wouldn't flash when switch on the drivers side

I have a 86 olds cutlass supreme gbody car. I'm having problems with the turn signals on the drivers side and the indicator in the dash won't blink. When I flip the switch to the right side they flash just fine, then when flip it to the left the side marker light/turn signal goes out. Also when I have the left turn signals on the drivers side the other lights blink but dim,and lastly when push down on the brake pedal the front turn signals come on with the brake lidhts. I have replaced bulbs and put new bulb sockets on the drivers side and still the same results. Am I missing something or overlooked something in the dashboard any hep would greatly appreciated.

Check all the grounds for the bulbs/sockets. Then suspect the signal switch.
