02 century wont start after it sets for a few days

im trying to help a friend that has an 02 century 3.8 after it sets for a few days it wont start if you give it a shot of starting fluid it starts and runs fine.we replaced the fuel pump module, fuel filter and pressure regulator,we also change the crank sensor behind the balancer.im not sure what to do now can anyone help

Well, for one it's a 3.1/3.4, not 3.8......

Scanned for codes? Bad coolant sensor could cause a lean start, when you need a rich one....

nothing is showing up on the scanner or data stream
