2005 Dodge Stratus starting issue

My son was driving to work the other night and the car shut down and would not restart it even burned up the started, smoking and all. I changed the starter and it fried the new one. I changed the starter yet again along with the ASD relay, starter relay, camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor. Hard the wire s checked and they are good. Battery is good had it tested and recharged at Autozone. I am at witts end. Any ideas.

That is awfully strange. There has to be a short going up through to the PCM.
