2000 Caravan 3.3l spark plugs replacement
Hi Fellas,
I recently changed my spark plugs and wires on my 2000 3.3l caravan. I removed the wiper cowl and intake plenum to do this. I bought a new gasket, but did not use any gasket sealer. I torqued it down with 15 ft/lbs. But it is leaking and idling high. Should I use gasket sealer, and is this the right torque spec? The spec is a little sketchy as I have seen other sites that say to use 21 ft/lbs. I know the head is aluminum, so before torquing it down with 21 ft/lbs, I figured I better check here!

Re: 2000 Caravan 3.3l spark plugs replacement
Why in the world would you pull the intake ? Or even the wiper cowl ?
There is plenty of room to reach over the coil pack to get at the rear plugs. Just asking ???? Mike |
