00 relay clicks everytime i hit brakes is that normal
hi when the truck is off nothing when i turn key to contact or running if i hit the brakes i hear a relay behind the instrument cluster is that normal... is that just for the brake lights i hear

Not sure why this is a concern- there could be many reasons, by design or aftermarket. There are relays all over the vehicle- and if you dislike hearing them, you need to turn the radio up some.
Most likely a cruise control cancel, or TCC lock-up cancellation control relay- and would be considered perfectly normal. If you have aftermarket remote starter/alarm installed- it may be from that.

its because i have that issue of the flickering interior lights.. the high beam light being on when the lights off or if the head light switch removed.. and now i noticed a relay clicking
and no one has had this interior light flickering problem in this forum yet since no one has commented.. but ok i wont worry about the relay then.. |
