My 98 Dodge dies on right hand turns.
At least once every drive it will die in middle of right hand turn. I have to coast to the side and quietly wait to hear a faint click under the dash, (sounds to be behind speedometer just a little left of dead center). in about 26 seconds. Starts right up and off we go till nest time.
What is up with that? |

I'd be checking all battery cables, wiring harness etc .

Re: My 98 Dodge dies on right hand turns.
One person said strap on harness was to tight and causing a short...haven't checked that one yet. One said yes there is a module on steering column that can go bad and cause it. Hmm the little click sounds like a breaker resetting itself, but hust not sure.
I just changed the fuel pump in-tank because it was dead. and after being down with this ailment for 8 months and running. Realized oh yeah we still have the cornering problem |

Re: My 98 Dodge dies on right hand turns.
If it was a short you'd being blowing fuses. Never seen a self resetting breaker in a car. Still thinking your are losing 12v in that turn, car shuts off. Most likely start at the battery and clean tighten wires, etc
