00 head light switch Binging Dome Light Flickers

on my sisters truck the door chiming comes on whenever.. to turn it off you have to turn the head light switch on then off... driving at night with the head lights on the dome light and under the feet lights flicker a mile a minute...

I switched out the switch from the wreckers thought it fixed it but nope back to doing it

if you have the Scan tool hooked up to the ODB port and the lights flicker it shuts off the connection to the ODB port like you turned off the ignition

has anyone had this issue if so how you fix

oh and I noticed when its beeping the Security light starts flashing... maybe that's the problem this is a Security thing?

how do I disable it.. when I turn on and off the head light switch then the security word stops flashing
