I actually can't get over that this is in 1/24. Normally don't see this level of detail on an engine under 1/18.

Fantastic to follow this build. Engine detail is second to none. Would love to know your method of heat staining as you have done on the heat shield below the fan.

Cheers,
Anthony

Beautiful job!

Am I imagining things, or does the fan belt pulley appear to 'droop' slightly?

Re: N.E.S. Rallye Porsche 911 POKER!!!!

yes the bolt of th belt pulleye "watch a bit down", but it is hard too fix: fragile things glued togetherwith strong stuff, at the and however you wouldn't see anything...

@Paolo those K&S aluminium bits are more than OK for my needs, at the end they'll be weathered like all the whole engine

Re: N.E.S. Rallye Porsche 911 POKER!!!!

Fantastic!!

I really like the fuel and ignition systems- the injectors and spark plug boots look spectacular. It is almost painful that everything is covered on the 911.

I know that the 956 is not your favourite- but one great thing about it is that the Kugelfischer sits atop the engine in all its glory, for all to see- and now that I have a Kugelfischer, I must build one!

Re: N.E.S. Rallye Porsche 911 POKER!!!!

Ciao Andy, thanks a lot friend: building this engine I thought the same thing about the 956... everithing would be in good view, and combining a engine from a fuji 911 with the Tami's one something good will happen.....
