Return hose from evap canister to tank

I'm working on a friends 1998 grand Marquis. She went for a CA smog check and was told the return line from the evap canister to the tank was missing and the test could not be done.

I haven't had the chance to get under the car yet to check it out. What I would like to know is if any of you have a pic of that hose where it attaches to the tank and any advice on replacing it.
