Re: Rear rotor and brake system

Do you have a question? Are there an missing wheel studs? Does it only move when the brake caliper has been removed?

Re: Rear rotor and brake system

If it's a 2002 or newer it could be the hub, although if the hub, the brake caliper and caliper mounting bracket would also be moving around with the rotor. Also if it's the hub, the unit would move around with the wheel installed as well, making it pretty difficult to drive straight, and certainly it would not be safe to drive.

Re: Rear rotor and brake system

is it loose with the wheel on? if you can't get to it with wheel on see if you can thread a couple of the lug nuts back on all the way then try it. they use the wheel to hold the rotor tight against the hub. if its still loose put wheel on and try rocking it top to bottom and see if you feel any movement
