1994 camaro drv side frnt shock assemble

I have a srut shock assemble that pull out of the mount and is loged to the side of mount.anyone know how to remove this safely? due to the spring has a lot of tension and cant remove it as a unit since mount is not attached..??

A spring compressor will be necessary to remove the strut safely.
