Did I permanently damage my Cherokee fuel pump?
The fuel pump ground broke off right where it goes into the fuel pump assembly. The Jeep obviously shut right down. UPDATE... Anyway to attach the ground wire from the harness to the fuel pump assembly, which is rusty?

It would be possible to solder the broken fuel pump tab back into place. But this is best done with the fuel pump removed from the tank.
However,for that much effort, you may as well replace the fuel pump itself.
