96 park avenue cruise control problems solved

Just wanted to post this to let others know how to fix an issue with a faulty servo. Mine quit working and could not get it to work replaced the brake switch to no avail then eventually bought a used servo off ebay to replace the one I had and could not get it to work. I pulled the old one apart to notice plastic shavings everywhere and a gear that was messed up. wondered why the used one from ebay would not work then finally solved it by replacing the electronic board from the internal parts of the one that failed on the car and then put it in the used one I bought off ebay and suddenly the cruise control started to work again. Hope this helps anyone with a bad servo somehow the board must stay with the car.
