1995 Olds 88 water pump replacement
1995 Olds 88 3.8L VIN K Need info on replacing water (coolant) pump. Service manual says I have to remove torque axis mount. Is this necessary or can pump be removed without removing axis mount? Thanks Walt

Register with autozone.com(free) repair guides, eng, waterpump. Pretty good tutorial. Probably find it on youtube also.

Re: 1995 Olds 88 water pump replacement
I think you do.....I think it was the '96 that used a different lower mount and was not in the way.....it is a pain in the arse to do....
This is the mount, that has the long bolt going through it......have to jack the engine up to remove it.....still not easy....
