1996 Corsica ABS Light
1996 Corsica 3.1 ABS Light is on, Bought a Innova 3160D Scanner, doesn't appear to work as advertised, Just shows a 18 no C or 00. The DTC Definition is not Available, visit www.innova.com been there done that, found nothing about this isssue, this model of scanner is supposed to support a 1996 Chevy Corsica ABS system. can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks

I have no experience nor help with that device (I use a MT-2500 and a CRP-129) but the pre-OBDII codes for the Delco ABS VI system used an "18" code to identify a problem with the enable relay coil circuit (shorted/grounded) and some of the 1996 models may have gone either way with the body and SIR codes since only the powertrain was required to be "compliant" in 1996.
