Rear tank fuel pump 91 E150
Rear Tank Fuel pump fails a few days after installation. I have replaced the rear tank fuel pump twice on my 1991 E150 only to have it fail a few days later. There must be something causing this premature failure. Any ideas?

Re: Rear tank fuel pump 91 E150
I would check the wiring for poor connections or bare spots. Check out the ground for this pump. When ever you change the pump check for debris in the tank. A lot of aftermarket pumps have a small sock strainer for the pump .Purchase a new OEM strainer. Look for crimped spots in the fuel line.
