Sounds a little far for me (pittsburgh steel cities region) but i'd SOOO love to get outta this snow and go racing right now. However this year I know our region is hosting the 2003 SCCA Northeast Division Solo Championships. Its being held at the Beaver run motorsports complex ( www.beaverun.com ) on 7/11/03-7/13/03. I'm offically chief of workers this year so i'm going to have a fun time lol.

Another Steel Cities person. Monroeville getting ready to take the CRX out of hibernation for the Spring. Cannot wait for BeaverRun this year.
As to the eastern part of the state-back to Pocono later on too. Give that one a try on an HPDE day there. You can run PDA or NASA out there. Or consider coming our way when the weather is nice <BG>.

jc836 - You live out in monroville you say? Thats cool you have a ITA car before, hell i've probaly seen you run if you were at beaver for the Abe Vestal memorial race they had a few months ago. If you know Mark Connely, runs a red & silver civic in ITC, he's a really good friend of mine....heck his race car is my old street car hehe. Also I have had the chance to do a HPDE this past year, it was the one in October they held up a beaver. Only other time i've been on track before that was 2 years ago for a fun day up at nealsons ledges. But i'm gonna try to definally get some more HPDE time in if $$$ allows this year...one track event a year is not the way to live hehe. However this will be my 4th year for autocrossing so thats not to shabby. Where do they run out near Pocono? I havn't heard to much about that area but i'm always interested in finding new places to race.

Dx18704 - Who in street touring DOESN'T know Chris Shenfield I have the page with his car setup book marked haha. Of course for the record I was racing 4th gen civic hatchbacks back when the 2.5RS's were rulling street touring at the nationals The year I bought my 89 Si, well Si's have won every year since hehe. Stick with him I he can help you out a ton. I'm not building my car EXACTLY off his, there's no fun in that hehe, but its actaully sort of close which surpised me a little (I just found out his setup like a month ago via his website for his shop). If you guys are ever in the area for a race lemme know be nice to meet ya!

Thats really cool, if you can talk him into comming out to the regional hehe. I'd like to meet him, granted we have some damn fast STS cars out here...but i'm still sure he'd woop on most of us haha. You can come to, or maybe someday i'll race out your way who knows, every year me and a group of people I race with will go invade some other region on our off weekends where there are no local races.
